Just TrU began on November 17th, 2002, by our founder j1n, who wanted to create an environment that was competitive and fun for all types of players. With a single dream and server, TrU (Tactical Response Unit) emerged.

We are definitely not your typical gaming community. Over the years we thrive on having the best possible servers for those who appreciate a properly maintained server backed up by a community that has welcomed all types of players.

TrU is a successful community that started with 1 server and have grown to amassing 700,000 connections a year. No matter how you try to define us, one thing is for certain, we love to play this game for what it's meant to be and that's for the fun of it.

We're not just a gaming community, we're a family.

Our community is based on full servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and specialize in 24/7 maps such as Counter-Strike 1.6, CS:Source and more.
